Awesome

We purchased the insulated window covers for our fiat ducato campervan. We absolutely love them. They’re awesome!🙌🏼 They arrived quickly and have really well made bags to put them in when they’re not in use.

Fits Perfectly, Completely Lightproof, and Great Insulation

I bought the blackout cover for the sliding door of my 2022 Peugeot Boxer, and I’m completely satisfied! It fits perfectly, blocks out all light, and provides excellent insulation.

Super product!

I've been looking for something like this for the Ducato for ages. It works perfectly for darkening and insulation. When it's not needed, you can leave it on the door, simply fold it upward, and secure it with the straps. I'm very satisfied with it.

High-quality and easy to install.

The window covers from Living in a Bubble come in a practical drawstring storage bag, packed flat and compact, making them easy to store.
The covers are quite thick and stiff, not flimsy like simple aluminum foil covers with suction cups. This makes them super easy to attach to the window, and they provide excellent insulation against cold in winter and heat in summer.
The bottom edge of the windshield cover is tucked between the glass and the dashboard, while the top is secured with the sun visors. Simply press the sides against the window, and you're done. There's no need for suction cups or fasteners—they hold on their own. There’s a slot in the middle at the top to accommodate the arm of an interior mirror if needed.
The side window covers attach magnetically to the metal of the door. I find them slightly oversized. When attached from the inside with the door closed, it’s no issue. However, if applied with the door open, the edge gets caught under the door seal when you close the door. I haven’t tested yet if rain might seep onto the cover in this case.
Once installed, they are absolutely lightproof and provide complete privacy. The outside is black, unlike most covers that are silver, so it’s less noticeable in the evening if someone is inside the vehicle.
I have a 2018 Boxer, and as described, the covers fit very well.
I find the Living in a Bubble covers excellent, not only for their high-quality craftsmanship but also for their quick and easy installation and removal. I highly recommend them.
Additionally, the price for the windshield cover, currently €54.95, and €64.95 for the side doors (plus a 10% discount voucher), is very reasonable for the quality offered.

Ordered for my Citroen Jumpy, and they fit well here too. Blackout and insulation are top-notch.

I have the slightly smaller version of the Citroen Jumper, the Jumpy. I converted this vehicle into a camper van and was missing blackout and insulation for the front side windows.
Unfortunately, there’s nothing truly model-specific for the Jumpy, so I took a chance, hoping this insulation/blackout would fit, as the Jumper and Jumpy doors have a fairly similar design. My guess was correct—they fit quite well, just a little too large and not 100% perfect for the Jumpy’s window cutout, but they do fit.
The blackout quality is excellent, and the material thickness provides very good insulation. The craftsmanship is high quality, and the material itself feels durable.
All in all, I am very satisfied with the blackout/insulation. It does what it should: darken and insulate.
Therefore, it earns a well-deserved five stars and my recommendation, not least because of the good price-performance ratio for the quality offered, in my opinion.

FAQ'S

  • Are the window covers compatible with my van?
We have designed our window covers to fit Mercedes Sprinters (2007-Current) and Crafters (2006-2016) only. However, we might be adding new vans to our range depending on the demand.
  • My van has a technology box. How do I install the windshield window cover?
Our windshield window cover comes with hooks and drawstrings so they can be attached to the headliner and adjusted tightly. Since the center is magnetised, if the van does not have a rear mirror, the center will be flat close. We have tried and it worked great on the technology box not leaving gaps for light to come through. Please see video HERE: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1w86g3wC0hlYB6fPhtTKBuXR0rtPBeOdz
  • Do you have window covers for Sprinters prior to 2007?
Unfortunately, we do not have window covers for Sprinters prior to 2007 but we might be adding new vans to our range depending on the demand.
  • Can you make custom window covers for my van?
Sorry, our products are custom-made to fit specific van models. They cannot be altered as we do not make them by order.
  • Can I leave the window covers in place?
Yes, you can leave your window covers in place!
Our window covers are designed to stand direct sunlight for very long periods. In addition to that, the black fabric is UV50+ and there are 2 layers of reflective aluminum inside of the covers so it won't deteriorate.
  • Why does my window cover doesn’t fit inside the grab handles?
Different vans have different types of grab handles. When properly installed, your window cover should look like the photo below:
Since there are different types of handles, there are cases when the indent on our window cover doesn’t go all the way inside of the handle. If your window cover is installed and it’s looking like the photo I shared above, it means the window cover is doing its job.
